Kent Championships, 23rd September 2007, Gillingham
Skybound had a fantastic day at the Kent Championships in Gillingham on 23rd September.
Out of the 11 competitors we had entered 7 were in the trophy places individually with a team first also. The others were well placed. Skybound was also ranked 3rd in the overall Kent Trampoline Club title.
The trophies went to: Sam Sheppard who was 3rd and Amy Thomas won 1st in the Under 13 Girls Intermediate Donna Borthwick was 3rd and Bec Lewis won 1st in the Over 17 Ladies Intermediate. The Under 13 Girls Intermediate, Kent Team Title was won by Amy Thomas, Sam Sheppard, Tegan Cooke and Alice Doughty. Lisa Borthwick gained 3rd in the Under 17 Girls Advanced and Michelle Borthwick was 3rd in the Over 17 Ladies Advanced. Not quite over the hill yet (despite what everyone else says!) was Tony Fricker who gained 1st in the Over 17 Mens Advanced.
The other placings achieved were: Tegan Cooke, 5th, Alice Doughty, 10th and Megan Todd, 14th in the Under 13 Girls Intermediate. Priscilla Collins, 14th in the Under 13 Girls Novice.
Well done all, everyone is now looking forward to their next graded qualifier in the next few weeks. You should all do well.
